Forage Kitchen will open at the Milwaukee Public Market fall 2024.
The Milwaukee Public Market is excited to announce theaddition of Forage Kitchen, a health-forward, Wisconsin-based eatery, to its lineup oflocally-owned vendors. Forage Kitchen will bring its farm-to-fork philosophy to the HistoricThird Ward destination, with plans to open later this fall.
Forage Kitchen, founded and owned by Wisconsinite Henry Aschauer, prides itself onsupporting local Wisconsin farmers. With a commitment to "healthy food that’s as good foryour taste buds as it is for your soul," Forage Kitchen sources fresh, local ingredients tocreate nutritious and delicious offerings that reflect the bounty of Wisconsin's agriculturalcommunity. Some of the local producers they support include Carr Valley Cheese inLaValle, Flynn Creek Farm Produce in Verona, and Rocket Baby Bakery in Wauwatosa.
"Forage Kitchen's journey started in 2015, not long after I graduated from the University ofWisconsin. Nine years later, we are thrilled to bring satisfyingly delicious, locally sourcedfood to the Milwaukee Public Market community," said Henry Aschauer, owner of ForageKitchen.
This will be the first downtown Milwaukee location for Forage kitchen. In addition to thepopular grain bowls, salads, soups, and wraps made fresh from scratch, their MilwaukeePublic Market location will introduce an exclusive new array of fresh juices and anexpanded wrap menu. Patrons can also enjoy the flavors of Forage's line of organic,functional beverages, including kombucha brewed with Milwaukee's own Rishi Tea and itsdecaf cousin, tepache.
