The Dinky Rink is here! Located outside the Market along the North side of the building, this pint-sized rink will open for operation on Friday, January 21 (weather permitting), with time slots being available by reservations only.

The Dinky Rink was developed in response to an increased interest in outdoor activity during the winter months. The rink features covered seating, outdoor heaters, and of course access to food and drink from market vendors.

Rules:

-Registration is required before accessing rink

-Skate at your own risk

-No shoes or boots on the ice

-Rink area is accessible only during market hours

-Please limit your time on the ice to no more than 90 minutes

-No more than 8 people allowed on the ice at one time

-No skates allowed in the market building

-No food or drink allowed on the ice at any time  

-Children under 18 years must be supervised at all times

-ABSOLUTELY NO ICE FISHING

FAQs

1. What hours will the rink be available to reserve and for what amount of time?

The rink will be open during general market hours. Skating sessions will be limited to 90 minute timeframes.

2. Is it B.Y.O.S. or are there any skates that will be available for rent?

Attendees will be required to bring their own skates.

3. Is there an age limit?

Participates ages 3 and older will be allowed on the rink.  (anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.)

4. Is there a cost to reserve the rink?

There is no fee to skate on the rink, although refundable deposits may be required to reserve a time slot.  All food & beverages consumed in the rink area must be purchased from Public Market businesses.

5. How long will the Dinky Rink be available?

As long as Mother Nature allows us to maintain ice.
