Join us at Milwaukee Public Market for the second installment of Milwaukee Mornings featuring Mayor Cavalier Johnson on Thursday, June 11.
In a live conversation moderated by Jeff Sherman, Mayor Cavalier Johnson will share his experiences and perspective on Milwaukee, his career in public service, and the impact he’s making both within and beyond our city.

About Mayor Cavalier Johnson: Mayor Cavalier Johnson took office as Acting Mayor of the City of Milwaukee in late 2021 and set out immediately to build a safer city. He has prioritized violence reduction, economic development, and roadway safety. Before taking on his role as Acting Mayor, Johnson served as Common Council President while representing the city’s 2nd Aldermanic District.
About Milwaukee Mornings: Presented in partnership with Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, Milwaukee Mornings is a six-part series occurring on the second Thursday of each month. The series brings influential Milwaukee leaders to the stage for live conversations moderated by Jeff Sherman, civic leader and host of The Upswing. With a refreshed take on traditional networking, attendees can expect unique perspectives and a closer look at the people driving Milwaukee forward.

Parking is available in the Market's main lot just off of Water Street. Make sure to bring your parking ticket to the class for validation.
Cancellation
Reservations are non-refundable, however you may send someone else to take your place. If we cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, a full refund will be made.

What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
