Mary Adashek of Sweet Connection Classes is back!

Learn to create sweetened yeast dough that we will shape into a whimsical Christmas tree, complete with icing and sprinkles!  Then accompany the coffee cake with this mouth-watering brown sugar glazed bacon recipe. With just two humble ingredients, bacon and brown sugar are transformed into a salty-sweet masterpiece in the oven. 

We will finish off the meal with a tasty beverage which is a blend of tea, and fruit juices with almond and vanilla extracts. Simply add a fresh fruit platter and your holiday brunch is picture perfect!

What to Expect: This is going to be a fun and interactive hands-on class – in your own kitchen! Once registered, you will receive a Crowdcast invitation with all the details you need to get ready for class. Once registered, you will have access to both the live class, as well as the option to replay the video after the class has concluded.

 

Timeline: 5:30 – 7:00 PM

 

What you will need:

  • Large bowl
  • Rubber scraper
  • Small saucepan
  • Digital Thermometer (similar to one you would use for meat)
  • Aluminum foil
  • Rolling pin
  • Small sharp knife
  • 2 Cookie sheets
  • Cooling rack for cooking bacon
  • Small bowl
  • Liquid measuring cup
  • ⅓ and ½ cup measuring cups
  • Teaspoon and Tablespoon
  • Extra large bowl or pot, big enough to hold 16 cups capacity
  • Long handle wooden or plastic spoon

Free Parking

Parking is available in the Market's main lot just off of Water Street. Make sure to bring your parking ticket to the class for validation.

Cancellation

Reservations are non-refundable, however you may send someone else to take your place. If we cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, a full refund will be made.
