Midwest Made Baking Demo & Cookbook Signing, Tuesday November 12th, 5:30 PM, $30.00 Demonstration

If you enjoy baking, Shauna Sever’s new cookbook, ‘Midwest Made’, will surely bring back fond memories while sparking new curiosity.

“From the Dakotas to Ohio, from Minnesota to Missouri, the Midwest is a veritable quilt of twelve states full of history, values, recipes, people, and places that make up the baking culture of the Heartland,” says Shauna Sever. And with her latest book, Sever dishes up all the yummy treats we’ve come to know as all-American—everything from Bundt cakes to brownies—many of which can be traced to German, Scandinavian, Irish, Polish, French, Arab, and Italian immigrant families that came to call the American Midwest their home.

Sever will be discussing her background, inspiration for the cookbook, and preparing a few recipes from the book for guests to sample.

Copies of Midwest Made are available to pre-order for $19.00 and guests will have the opportunity to get their book personally signed following the demonstration.
