We will make chocolate cake "meatloaf", vanilla bean frosting "mashed potatoes ",marzipan "peas", caramel "gravy" and strawberry coulis "ketchup" to make a meal, I mean, dessert, that anyone will mistake for the real thing.
Join Becky from The Secret Oven for this hands-on, fun & educational class! We cover a lot of different techniques in each class including kitchen & food safety. Becky is a Certified Pastry Chef with ServSafe & First Aid/CPR certification who has been teaching kids in the kitchen for over a decade with even more time spent working with K-12 students in special and general education.
Classes are for kids ages 8-17 who are able to work safely and responsibly in small groups. This includes the ability to follow directions and work cooperatively. If you have concerns about your child's behavior but want them to participate in class, please contact Becky (secretoven@yahoo.com) and together we can make a plan.

Parking is available in the Market's main lot just off of Water Street. Make sure to bring your parking ticket to the class for validation.
Reservations are non-refundable, however you may send someone else to take your place. If we cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, a full refund will be made.
Market cards can be used towards all cooking classes offered!
