Cook Your Macros, Cook The Season: Carbs, Monday September 9th, 5:30 PM, $30.00 Demonstration

Chef Claire Menck founded Girlchef to help people enjoy their lives more through food, with a philosophy that life is better with good food. Join us while we host Chef Claire for a four part series on Macros and how you can eat what your body needs to be at its best, while you actually enjoy what you put in your body!

Probably the most vilified food ever, fat has gotten a bad rap in our culture. Fat is one of the three macro-nutrients our bodies need to survive and really thrive. This demonstration looks at what fat is, what it does in our body, and how to cook "good fats" and replace "bad fats." We'll take a the mystery out of this food and prepare some delicious, fat healthy foods that feature seasonal ingredients you can find at the farmer's market and from local producers.
