Latin American food is rich, wonderful, and culturally diverse with influences from indigenous populations, European colonization, and African and Middle Eastern spices. What makes Latin American food unique is that it can be very simple to make or incredibly complex, but no matter what – it is always incredibly flavorful!

 

We will take a culinary journey through Mexico, while Chef Staci Joers shares more about the delicious foods that have defined this cuisine. Tonight we will be preparing a fabulous basic chile sauce that can be used for multiple dishes, reducing your overall time spent in the kitchen.

 

Bonus: you’ll even get to sample a few easy recipes that use this sauce:

 

·        Shredded Pork Shoulder with Ancho chile sauce

 

·        Cheese & Onion Enchilada with Ancho chile sauce

 

·        Black Bean & Corn Relish

Parking is available in the Market's main lot just off of Water Street. Make sure to bring your parking ticket to the class for validation.

Cancellation

Reservations are non-refundable, however you may send someone else to take your place. If we cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, a full refund will be made.
