As the ultimate downtown food destination, the Market plays host to a number of public and private events. From a seasonal outdoor urban market, to cooking classes, to our famous beer and cheese tastings, there is always something happening at your Milwaukee Public Market. The 2nd Level Palm Garden area can also transform into an elegant private event space, capable of accomodating anything from wedding receptions to corporate events.

 
Coffee Tasting & Brewing Demo - 5/26

 

Cedarburg Coffee Tasting & Brewing Demo


Sunday, May 26th at 2pm., $5.00


5 coffees will be brewed in a French Press – 2 light, 1 medium (Market Blend), and 2 dark.

Relevant variables will be discussed and explained (type of grind and its consistency, water quality and temp, grind/water ratio, brew time and agitation, and age of coffees).

Coffees will be brewed in front of customers with explanations of each step involved.

Then we taste! We will guide everyone through the sensory experience, with what to look for or interesting notes about the brew/coffee.

The tasting will last less than two hours (short intro/explanation of coffee roasting and brewing, then 10-20min per coffee).

$5/person, 10 person max seating.

From early June through October, visit our Outdoor Market. Come and enjoy the day in one of Milwaukee’s most charming and unique neighborhoods. Stroll through our sunny location on St. Paul Avenue, where we have the best of what summer has to offer. In addition to the fresh seasonal produce, the outdoor market experience is complemented by some of the best artists in the region.  

 

Monday thru Friday: 10 am – 8 pm
Saturday: 8 am – 7 pm     Sunday: 10 am – 6 pm		 Early Open Hours: Weekdays at 7 am
