Hands On Cooking & Day Trip

Be a culinary student for a day and experience the structure and instruction of a cooking class at the acclaimed Le Cordon Bleu, Chicago. Following class, we’ll move on to Eataly Chicago Market, the new high-end Italian food market with restaurants, food and beverage stations, lots of cooking gadgets, cookbooks and more!
Meet in Madame Kuony’s kitchen in the Milwaukee Public Market for a quick cup of coffee and snack before boarding our comfortable motor coach to Chicago.
Arrive at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts for a hands on cooking class. We’ll break into groups and trained chefs will lead us in preparing an entire spring meal of herb roasted lamb, pork and chicken. Students will make all recipes, including orange and currant scones, asparagus with mustard-caper vinaigrette, special four-cheese potatoes. Dessert is specially made by the chefs of the school! All recipes are original to Le Cordon Bleu.
Board the motor coach for a short drive to Eataly Chicago Market. You’ll have time on your own to explore and shop the many different areas. Keep your eyes open for famous chefs. It’s owned by Mario Batali and Lidia Bastianich. Don’t worry about your packages, they even ship!
Board the motor coach for the ride back to Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Public Market.
Cost includes; morning coffee, snack, motor coach transportaion, hands on cooking class at Le Cordon Bleu, full meal, Le Cordon Bleu apron, hat, recipe cards, Le Cordon Bleu certificate of completion, and stop at Eataly Chicago Market.
